PINE GROVE CAMPING AREAS Pine Grove I and II group camping sites are located in White Memorialšs main area and are reserved primarily for non-profit youth group camping. The sites are also available for use by other youth groups. Each area contains an Adirondack style camping shelter with sleeping space for 5-6 people, an outhouse, two picnic tables and a fire ring. Space is available to put up tents and water is nearby. Each Pine Grove area will hold about 25 people. |
Pine Grove I - This level to sloping wooded site, is located off Whitehall Road about 0.3 miles north of the Museum parking lot. |
Pine Grove II - This level area surrounded by large pine trees is located southeast of our Museum, 0.3 miles by road, near the Bantam River. |
The entrance to The White Memorial Foundation and Conservation Center is located off Route 202 between Litchfield and Bantam, Connecticut, approximately 2 miles west of Litchfield on Whitehall Road.Museum Hours:
