WMCC is thrilled to partner with our friends at Litchfield Hills Audubon Society for this terrific program! Newtown resident Larry Fischer is a federally licensed raptor bander who has been banding hawks, falcons, owls, and eagles for more than 30 years, working independently as well as with the CT DEEP and the U.S. Dept. of the Interior. Tag along with Larry as we seek out the haunts of Barred, Great Horned, Screech, and Saw-whet Owls! We’ll begin in the A. B. Ceder Room with a brief introduction to the species you might be hearing tonight and meet our own barred Owl, Shakespeare! You’ll no doubt leave this evening completely enlightened!
PLEASE CALL THE MUSEUM 860-567-0857 to be placed on the waiting list.
